Useful information for international students

Sweden in Touch
Those of you looking for an online network for international students and professionals in Sweden need look no further than Sweden In Touch. This innovative website is still in its beta version, but it looks very promising. The University of Borås will soon be part of the network, which a few students have already asked about. Joining early gives you the chance to give them feedback about how their website is developing.

Bus discount
Borås will finally have a bus discount from the 1st of January. The discount applies for people aged between 20-25 years of age, who will receive a 25% discount when buying a period card from Västtrafik. Borås is the last municipality in Västragötaland to have the discount).

International Student Committee
Are you interested in meeting students from around the globe and helping organise activities during the welcome period?

Join the International Student Committee (ISC) to meet our new international students when they arrive, to arrange activities during the welcome period and throughout the term, and to help them learn more about and adjust to the Swedish culture.

New network for international students in Sweden
There is a new online network available for international students in Sweden. SwedenInTouch.se is a network for international students, scholars and professionals who are in Sweden or have been to Sweden. The aim of the network is to bring together the large group of international students and professionals and help them to stay updated and in touch with Sweden. While the website is currently in it’s beta version many functions are active,
