Seminar on working and starting a business in Sweden

Are you planning on working in Sweden or starting your own business? Would you like to know how to navigate the Swedish labour market? Or find out what labour regulations that applies for international students?

Then you should sign up for the work seminar on March 23rd! The work seminar, which is arranged by Drivhuset and University of Borås, aims to answer all your questions regarding working in Sweden. You will get an opportunity to learn about:

-How to apply for jobs in Sweden and better prepare yourself for your job search, how to write a CV and how to begin the search for finding a job. Lecturer: Susanne Håkansson, Career counselor, University of Borås.

-The basics in entrepreneurship, the possibilities and risks associated with starting your own business, what business forms that are available and what your obligations are if you are running a business. Lecturer: Lotta Lehikoinen, Drivhuset.

-The labour immigration laws that apply for international students in regards to working during your studies, after your studies and starting up a company in Sweden. Lecturer: Linda Rydh, International Coordinator, University of Borås.

You will also get the chance to meet former international students who have successfully started their own companies, and who would like to share their experiences.
