Are you interested in becoming a student representative?

We are looking for students who are willing to actively engage in dialogue with both students and staff at the university on issues affecting the education and life of international students in Borås.

Being a student representative will entail a minimum of a few hours of work per month. There will be approximately three meetings per semester with me, where I will also invite people from the university and Borås, depending on the topic. As a student representative you will be a point of contact for students who have suggestions or problems, and communicate this at the meetings.

What do I get as a student representative?
In addition to making meaningful contributions to the improvement of the university and your department, being a student representative can give you important communication and leadership skills and build your CV. All student representatives will receive certificates of participation.

How are student representatives elected?
The student representatives should represent different departments and programmes, and should be both exchange students and degree students. If the interest is big, I will choose the representatives on a first come first served basis.

If you are interested, send an e-mail to internationalstudent@hb.se, stating your name, studies and the starting and finishing dates of your studies at UB.
Planned first meeting: Tuesday, 16 Oktober, 5pm.
