Gothenburg Culture Festival, August 13-18

Ballet and carnival, street theater and symphony orchestra, culinary culture and jazz, film and carousels, hip hop and dance, fairy tale and circus, stand-up and sculpture, design and poetry, museums and markets, international artists and local bands ... In August explodes Gothenburg in hundreds of activities for all tastes and ages. Streets and squares turn into festive places where you can indulge in a rich variety of culture - in the broadest sense. Everyone is invited and the entrance is free! With 1.3 million visits in 2012 and traditions from the early 1990s, the Gothenburg Culture Festival is one of Sweden's largest city festivals.
