All Saints Day

On November 1st it is All saints' day. All Saints day was originally introduced to remember the saints of the church who had no day of their own. Nowadays it is a day of reflection and many swedes are lightning candles on family graves. It can be very beautiful to visit a graveyard in the evening to see the countless points of light from the candles and lanterns.

Obs. All saints day is not a public holiday.

(Sorry for previously writing that it is, it was a mistake)
