More computer rooms available but the opening hours change

From April 1 2015, all university computer rooms are available to all students, with some exceptions. This also means that the opening hours for the computer labs change.

All computer rooms on campus available for all students are open at 07:00-22:00 all days of the week, except Medialab (L202) which is open 24 hours. The room inside the Medialab, L205, however, is only open at 08:00-19:00 Monday-Friday. Thus, it is only Medialab that applies to nocturnal studies now.

Some rooms are excluded and are not available to all students at the university.
– The exception applies to the following rooms: D423, D425, E204 and E204A and the rooms at the School of Textiles at the Textile Fashion Center, as these rooms have certain computer programs specific for students on certain study programmes, explains Cecilia Hallgren, Property Administrator at the university.

Also the rooms inside the library, J418 and J438, can only be booked by the library staff, as the library staff may need to book these rooms for teaching at short notice. However, there are two other computer rooms available for students in the library.
