A minute of silence

On Monday the 16th of November, at 12 PM, University of Borås will join in the minute’s silence the EU has called for in honour of the victims of the Paris terror attacks.

The minute’s silence will be observed in honour of the victims of the Paris terror attacks, as well as in protest of the increasing threats and attacks that we witness around the world. Attacks that threaten the fundamental values of our society - values that our universities are built on and must continue to defend: the right to free speech, freedom of thought, democracy and tolerance.

You are welcome to "Vardagsrummet" (outside the library) at 11:55 on Monday 12 November where Vice-Chancellor Björn Brorström will lead a minute’s silence.

The University of Borås has two social counsellors who you can contact if you wish to talk to someone. Contact information is available on our website here.
